·         Our idea will be to give different discounts to regular customers specially the youths.
·         My audience is all the people who are the followers of lacoste and accounts on social media.
·         The major goal is to attract the consumers from social media and other channels towards using the application.

Marketing Campaign


Digital marketing campaign for branded shoes is most interesting and successful. I will create some new strategy to take this brands ahead and will make this brand more successful. They are already very popular but every company want to grow their business more and more.


  • My idea is to provide 50% discount if anyone want to buy a pair of shoes at same time otherwise give them a 20% discount on each shoes so they will never go at other stores and will come regularly to our store.
  • My target audience is a people who are in the age of 15-25 years old.
  • The main goal is to attract customer through social media.
  • They can send a discount coupons for particular time period to attract the customers by sending the coupons to their house.
  • If we will able to attract the customers and if we can make them a regular customer then they will become a brand loyal after that they will not go anywhere else rather then us.

Content Marketing Nike

Current Idea: Nike features different Sports celebrities to promote its products. These celebrities play roles in videos and has photoshoots wearing Nike products.

Idea: Nike should start an online campaign for all the social media users. The idea of Campaign should be that there will be an online contest of videos on Facebook, Fans will make their own videos featuring Nike products and send them to Nike official page on Facebook. The Videos will be judged by both Nike and social media users on basis of likes, comments, shares and other creative aspects. The winners will get Nike products like shoes, sport kits etc., as a prize.

Audience: audience will be all the Facebook users because there are 1.8billion Facebook users.

Goals: our goals are to build a strong fan base on Facebook. Using this contest, the people will visit the Nike Facebook page more often and they will promote their own videos which will promote the Nike Page with it. The likes and reach of the page will increase fast and some of these people will also visit the Nike website to buy products.

Planning: We are planning to launch this campaign in the end of spring because people can go out in nice weather and they can shoot some really cool videos. It will be easier for them to feature different products of Nike.


Platforms: We will be using two major social media platforms, which are Facebook and YouTube.

This fan community on Google+ has 44,670 members and this page is really active. 7-8 posts are posted by the fans each day and most of these posts are related to Nike products. In recent years, Lacoste has introduced a home line of sheeting and towels. The company can be recognized by its green crocodile logo. The Company has a strong social media presence on Facebook, twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and google+.  We will try to analyse the social media strategy of the company. Puma-YouTube

YouTube is very popular tool to promote the product of any company. I think every company is using this tool and there are 147359 subscribers and very huge amount 1838412 viewer on YouTube. They use to promote their brand by posting different different videos for their new product and they post near about 15-18 videos in month. From last 25 videos we can say that they are using a 50-50 rule but in case of YouTube 50-50 rule does not matter because we just want to promote our brand and that we can promote by posting new videos day to day.
The most recent video is same as of the google about Puma XT shoes.

Reebok-YouTube 

Reebok channel have 80145 subscribers and 13286876 views and that is increasing day day which are a good signs for any brand. They are using the same strategy to promote their brand by posting new videos on YouTube but they are not posting as much videos as Puma. They just post 5-7 Videos every month on YouTube. According to last 25 videos we can clearly see that they are not focused on 50-50 rule because they just want to promote their product and they are doing so by uploading a new videos to aware their customers or viewers.

The most recent news is they all just want to be athletic and keep their body fit and healthy.

In Case of YouTube, the activities regarding posting new stuff for users is quite impressive. The YouTube channel of Adidas is having 355,558 subscribers and remarkable 164,071,085 views.  Adidas even has different channels for their different products related to different sports like AdidasGolf, AdidasTennis etc. On all these channels Adidas features the celebrities related to that particular sports in their videos. Which I think is really impressive strategy. Their channel related to tennis products features the Tennis stars and cricket related product channel features Star players from Cricket. I think in case of YouTube 50-50 rule doesn’t matter because it’s all about promoting your products and brand using different promotional videos. Adidas posts around at least 3-4 videos in a month.




The most famous videos from the YouTube channel was featuring Brazilian volleyball player “Jaqueline Carvalho”. This video got 3,015,977 views and 288 likes in 3 weeks.

Nike- YouTube


Nike YouTube channel has 247,561 subscribers and 58,488,084 views. The channel has around 198 videos featuring different celebrities like sports players and Hollywood actors. Nike posts at least 3-4 videos per month to promote their unique, new and upcoming products. Nike has also given the links to their other social media fan pages on youtube channel. For i.e you can see the links to their social media channels at the end of the videos. The  most recent videos of nike are featuring Hollywood Actor/Comedian “Kevin Hart”.





The most famous videos from the latest 25 video is Nike’s official advertisement. This video got 10,405,239 views and 31.789 likes in 4 months. This video got a lot of attention from YouTube users and got so many positive comments.

As expected Puma has a great image on Google+ as well. There are 480561 followers and 23782567 who viewed there page and they post their post 10-15 times in a month. They use to update their product on Google+ to attract the customers. According to last 25 posts we can say that they use a 50-50 rule because they continuously promote their products on it.

The most recent news is they launch their new product which is especially for athlete and is knows as Pulse XT.

Nike has really strong presence on Google+. Its Google+ account has 4,383,390 followers and 48,441,395 views. Nike posts 2-3 post over period of 1 week. Nike share its product pictures and use sports celebrities to promote them. After observing last 25 posts by Nike on the Google+ I can say that Nike doesn’t use 50-50 rule much because almost all of these posts are promoting Nike shoes in one way or another. Some of these posts consist of images and links. Other posts are featuring stars from different sports promoting Nike products.



The most famous post from these post is featuring +Neymar Junior. This post contains link to the official website of Nike where Neymar is featured wearing Nike shoes. This post so far has gotten +5626 and 412 shares.

 Adidas – Google+

Google+ account of Adidas has 2,554,082 followers and 111,455,273 views. Adidas posts 15-20 posts in a month on its account. More than 80% of these posts are videos which are featuring famous sports player in the video, this is how Adidas promotes it existing and upcoming products on the social media. These videos are having links to the official website of Adidas from where you can read more about the products or you can go ahead and purchase them.



After observing the last 25 posts by Adidas on Google+, I can say that Adidas doesn’t use 50-50 rule on its Google+ account because almost all the posts have direct links to the official website. The most famous post from the recent posts of Adidas is Introducing Futurecraft Tailored Fibre by Adidas.
