Nike and Adidas use of Google+

Nike -Google+ 

Nike has really strong presence on Google+. Its Google+ account has 4,383,390 followers and 48,441,395 views. Nike posts 2-3 post over period of 1 week. Nike share its product pictures and use sports celebrities to promote them. After observing last 25 posts by Nike on the Google+ I can say that Nike doesn’t use 50-50 rule much because almost all of these posts are promoting Nike shoes in one way or another. Some of these posts consist of images and links. Other posts are featuring stars from different sports promoting Nike products.



The most famous post from these post is featuring +Neymar Junior. This post contains link to the official website of Nike where Neymar is featured wearing Nike shoes. This post so far has gotten +5626 and 412 shares.

 Adidas – Google+

Google+ account of Adidas has 2,554,082 followers and 111,455,273 views. Adidas posts 15-20 posts in a month on its account. More than 80% of these posts are videos which are featuring famous sports player in the video, this is how Adidas promotes it existing and upcoming products on the social media. These videos are having links to the official website of Adidas from where you can read more about the products or you can go ahead and purchase them.



After observing the last 25 posts by Adidas on Google+, I can say that Adidas doesn’t use 50-50 rule on its Google+ account because almost all the posts have direct links to the official website. The most famous post from the recent posts of Adidas is Introducing Futurecraft Tailored Fibre by Adidas.
