Presence of Adidas on twitter is really strong. The twitter account of Adidas is having 2.6 million Followers on twitter and Adidas Canada page has 7000 followers. Adidas main page on Twitter has 3,446 tweets so far, which is an impressive amount of tweets. Adidas tweet on twitter on an average of one post over 3-4 days’ period. They Post really catchy pictures of their products and services and special tweets on special events. They also promote their special promotions time to time. Same as Facebook page they promote their stuff by featuring names and images of celebrities.
After observing the twitter account of Adidas I have realized that Adidas strictly follow the 50-50 rule because some of the posts promote their product while other posts promote fashion. In recent posts, Adidas wished #InternationalWomensDay.

In recent posts, the post which got most likes was same as the Facebook post which was about @PaulPogba who recently joined Adidas. This post got 405 retweets and 867 likes in 15 hours.

Nike- Twitter

Twitter account of Nike has 5.85 million followers and has impressive 24.2K tweets so far. Nike is also one of the top Shoe Brand on twitter and has good response time to user feedback. Just like Facebook, Nike Post’s about 20 to 25 post per month. They promote all of their new arrival items, store Locations and other related stuff on Twitter. Same as Facebook Nike Uses different twitter account domains for different countries to target specific market. Nike tweets links to their official website, where audience can see their new product or they can order online. Nike also re-tweets posts from its other accounts like NikeBasketball, NikeTennis etc. Nike follows the 50-50 rule on twitter because some of its posts include the promotion of new products and some posts are related to sports and celebrities. Nike uses #JustDoIt in most of its posts.

The latest post which got most likes and re tweets on twitter was about its new shoe product “Nike LunarEpic Flyknit”. This post by Nike got 1k likes and 496 re-tweets.
